The Children’s Health Initiative of Santa Barbara County is staffed by Health Linkages. Its Outreach, Enrollment, Retention and Utilization program identifies and enrolls Santa Barbara County’s uninsured children into existing government-sponsored health plans (Medi-Cal, Covered California and Healthy Kids) and provides case management to enhance retention and proper utilization of these programs. In addition, we provide administrative oversight of the Healthy Kids Santa Barbara insurance product, as well as support and training for county-wide Certified Application Assistors.
